Just another bit of Argentina.. Los Andes in the Mendoza area, bordering Chile. It is the area where the Mount Aconcagua stands tallest among the others, being the highest mountain of South America. The skyline is beautiful and there are absolutely breathtaking views of the Cordillera.

Roger Rama, producer, dj, remixer, videomaker. A composer with a personal style, strongly rhythmic and percussive, but with a melodic and sometimes melancholic drive. He began producing with the Minimal Funk project in 1997, Disco music for the third millennium, generated by the combination of decidedly black-oriented grooves with a highly hypnotic and minimal arrangement; hot and dark atmospheres supported by thumping, stark, and effective basses. Roger's club sound solicited a fair amount of interest abroad, as the vinyls called Minimal Funk hit the top of the dance charts throughout the world, and became a fave in Ibiza. He produced 5 extended plays under this pseudonim, released by prestigious international labels of the sector, as well as releases of various single tracks on dozens of dance compilations. DJ Danny Tenaglia included a track in his set compilation, and so did BBC DJ Pete Tong, who named Minimal Funk "essential tunes" on BBC, and producer Fat Boy Slim who included a track in his live show in Brighton and even sampled a Minimal Funk tune on his best ever selling album "You Come A Long Way". For what's concerning the Italian Scene, Roger Rama collaborated as a co-producer, co-author, and remixer in the release of the third album by Subsonica: "Amorematico", including the first single "Nuvole Rapide"; winner at the Italian MTV Awards 2002, as well as a platinum album. With Motel Connection he produced the soundtrack of the film by Marco Ponti called "Santa Maradona", and the Motel Connection first album "Give me a reason to wake up". Among Roger's projects, one has been about the fusion between forms of electronic experimentation and chamber music. A composer of symphonic music and a techno-oriented dj/producer interact, aiming for a hybridation of the respective aesthetics. This operation involved Roger Rama and Nicola Campogrande (see http://www.campogrande.it ), a composer of chamber music considered as an upcoming talent in the classical scene. The first results of this partnership have been released in Campogrande's production, called "Preludi a Getto d'Inchiostro", on chamber music label Velut Luna, which features three of those experiments. The three part suite "Absolut" has also been remixed and is downloadable from Nicola Campogrande's website. Roger Rama and Nicola Campogrande have been invited to take part in edition 2006 of Cantiere Internazionale d'Arte in Montepulciano ( http://www.cantiereinternazionaledarte.it ), a showcase for symphonic music's new trends. The product of this collaboration has been introduced to the audience during the festival on July 14th 2006. Roger’s latest solo album Music for Movies is available on iTunes catalogue. Roger Rama also developed a taste for the production of soundtracks for short movies. He performed live a new soundtrack for "Olympia", the famous Leni Riefensthal movie produced to celebrate the Berlin Olympics of '36, in occasion of the Winter Olympic Games in Torino in 2006. He's composed the soundtrack for the short movie "Resistanz" by Maxi Dejoie introduced at Venice's "Mostra del Cinema" and "Festival del Cinema Giovani" in Torino. Roger's activity is still being a d.j., hence he works in the fashion system djing onto the catwalks (Versace, Bikkemberg, Caractère, etc.)as well as producing music for commercials: Ducati, Woolrich, Pennrich, Juventus F.C. and the such are among the brands that use Roger Rama's music for their promotion. Roger has also been the director of the Tacuma Orchestra Elettronica, a digital combo performing live with 10 musicians linked to Roger’s digital mixer. In 2020 Roger composed, wrote the texts, and produced the concept album of the american soprano artist Fé Avouglan, STATE OF THE ART, on sale on the main digital stores and streaming platforms.
